Sourdough Storage

How to enjoy your sourdough bread:
  • Sourdough best enjoyed fresh! It is naturally leavened, therefore will spoil more quickly than conventional bread. This will keep on the counter in a paper bag or bread cloth for 24 hours.
  • Store a whole loaf in the freezer wrapped tightly in plastic wrap, then secured in a ziplock bag or aluminum foil. Thaw at room temperature, and heat gently in oven until crust is crunchy and bread is warmed through. 
  • Slice loaf, store tightly in a ziplock bag with a piece of parchment in between each slice. Re-heat desired about of slices n toaster or toaster oven. Enjoy!
